Quick Cold Coffee

Most folks know how to make Cold Coffee - an all time hit cold beverage for hot summers!
In this post, I'm sharing the way I make cold coffee - with a frothy layer on top.

While preparing any coffee beverage, usually a concoction of coffee, water & sugar is created by beating with a spoon till it becomes light & frothy. But since I'm on 'Quick & easy' mode these days, I've used a blender to do this job for me.

Serves 1

Ingredients:
1 glass milk
1 tsp instant coffee powder
1 & 1/2 tsp sugar
5-6 ice cubes
Chocolate syrup

Recipe:
1. Blend all the ingredients except ice cubes until they are mixed well.
2. Now add ice cubes & blend for a minute, until frothy.
3. Serve is a tall glass & pour some chocolate sauce on the top.

To turn cold coffee into a dessert, serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce/shaved chocolate.

Enjoy your home-made iced cappuccino :-)

The Healthy Beetroot Carrot Cake

Sounds really healthy? What if I tell you it was high on taste as well? Well you may not agree especially when it has beetroot & carrot! Deep, earthy flavour and whole lot of crunch, but what I love most about beetroot is the incredible colour that can transform anything shocking pink The overwhelmingly vibrant hue makes it one of the most bossy vegetables that can completely take over your dish. But that's when you need to know how to maintain that balance! With strong health credentials to its advantage, beetroot helps in detoxifying, is low in fat & calories, helps lower blood pressure and it a great source of fiber and minerals like iron, potassium and manganese which are essential for good health.                                                                  Carrots on the other hand are another root vegetable which have a beautiful orange color and full of a host of impressive health benefits - rich in Vitamin A, beautiful skin, cancer-preventio
