Bhuna Murg Masala

Bhuna Murg is a dry chicken curry smeared in onion tomato base with fresh fragrance of ginger, garlic and bhuna masala and the Indian spices.  'Bhuna' refers to a technique in cooking in which the onions, tomatoes & meat are seared on a high flame. Bhuna masala curries are usually a dry curry with a thicker masala & no gravy. What gives this dish the reddish hue is the Kashmiri  Red Pepper powder. What I love about this dish is that its a no fuss recipe, but ensures maximum flavor! This recipe is sure to get you some compliments. So try it now! Chicken Biryani

Quite possibly the most well known dish from India, Biryani can be found across various regions of the country, with subtle variations! It's a delicious rice dish loaded with spicy marinated chicken, caramelized onions, flavorful saffron rice and spices. For my Biryani, I simplify the order of operations, while retaining the traditional layered approach to assembling it. It can be cooked easily while maintaining a similar authentic flavor and texture of traditional versions. So here's the recipe to one of my most favorite dishes of all times - Chicken Dum Biryani! Ingredients Onions - 2 (Thinly Sliced) Tomatoes - 2 (Pureed) Chicken - 800 gms (I  prefer curry cut, but you can use pieces of your choice) Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp Yogurt - 2 tsp Coriander Powder ( Dhaniya Powder ) - 1 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi) - 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder ( Bhuna Jeera ) - 1 tsp Garam Masala - 1 tsp Salt -  As per taste ...

However for some, if they really love butter chicken but steer clear thanks to its calorie content, this recipe is for you! It is not 'rich' but is yummy and quick to make. It has all the flavors that both your taste-buds, and waistline will love :-). It is my family's favorite recipe where they get flavors of butter chicken, without any butter! So enjoy!
